I was born and raised in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul where I attended Johnson Senior High School, the University of St. Thomas, and Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Growing up, I quickly understood the importance of community in shaping who I am. Now, I'm dedicated to giving back and ensuring a bright future for generations to come.
I am married to Kyle, who works as a general manager for a nationwide mechanical company, and together we have a five-year-old son named Joseph. Our family resides in Ward 2, where we are surrounded by many other beautiful families. Joseph keeps us active with his involvement in lacrosse, soccer, T-Ball, and hockey through the Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association. As a former three-sport athlete myself, I'm excited to see Joseph's enthusiasm for sports grow.
I proudly serve on several boards and organizations, such as the Minnesota Children's Alliance, dedicated to ensuring local communities respond effectively to child abuse allegations, and the American Indian Family Center, which supports Native American families through both programs and traditional values. Child welfare has always been close to my heart, and I am committed to placing the best interests of children at the forefront of my service.
Throughout my career, I've been driven by a deep commitment to service and a passion for positive change. I've had the privilege of serving in various roles, at all levels of government, from city, county, state, and federal. With a diverse background and a proven track record of making a difference, I am ready to bring my skills and passion to the city council and serve the people of Ramsey with integrity and compassion.
